We can even port your existing phone numbers to our service free of charge, meaning there’ll be no need to lose your current phone numbers or establish new ones.
    Hosted PBX is a cloud-based phone system, whereas an onsite PBX is an IP routing technology-based system. Both systems use VoIP. Generally speaking, hosted PBX services are best suited to small businesses whereas large businesses with complex needs are better suited to onsite PBX. We provide a free service called porting to transfer your current phone numbers from your existing telco provider over to our VoIP system.  To transfer your numbers over to MBIT you’ll simply need to fill out and sign a Port Authorisation Form. Our specialists can help you fill out the form, provide tailored advice on your unique porting process and give you an estimated time to completion. Typically, porting takes one or two weeks but can take up to six weeks depending on the complexity of your business’s porting needs. Please be assured that your phone numbers will still function normally during this period, so there will be minimal disruption to your business. On the change over date, you will lose service for approximately 20 minutes, but we’ll warn you of this well in advance. Once the porting is completed, we’ll call your newly ported numbers to ensure they’re working as expected.
